Chittorgarh, once the capital of the Mewar kingdom, is a city of legends and bravery. The city’s massive fort, Chittorgarh Fort, is the largest fort in India and has been a symbol of Rajput pride and sacrifice. The fort has witnessed three major battles and is known for its association with legendary figures like Rani Padmini and Maharana Pratap. It has also been a site of Jauhar (self-immolation) to protect the dignity of the people during sieges.

The fort’s grandeur, combined with its historical significance, makes it a fascinating destination for history enthusiasts. Today, Chittorgarh stands as a testimony to the courage and sacrifice of the Rajputs.
